Notice: Changed Traffic Conditions

The National Capital District Commission wishes to advise the traveling public that there will be a staged partial road closure along Sir Hubert Murray Highway, between Erima roundabout and Moitaka roundabout, to facilitate drainage improvement works.

The works shall commence on Monday 21st September 2026, and changed traffic conditions are expected to be in place for a period of fourteen (14) days.

The installation of the drainage crossing and subsequent road reinstatement works will involve temporary road closure of the Sir Hubert Murray Highway in two phases - firstly, the outbound carriageway from Erima and then the inbound carriageway. Consequently, traffic will merge through the available open lane at the area of works, in accordance with the staged traffic management arrangements.

During this period, the travelling public and motorists are advised to adhere to posted road signage, observe the 40 km/h work-zone speed limit, and follow the instructions of designated traffic controllers. Motorists are further advised to use alternate routes where possible to avoid traffic congestion and delays, particularly during peak hours.

The National Capital District Commission apologizes for any inconvenience caused and thanks the public for their patience and cooperation.
