Public Notice: 2-mile Hill Remedial Works

National Capital District Commission wishes to advise motorists and general public, that urgent drainage works will commence along Sir Hubert Murray Highway this Saturday, 30th May 2026, at 6:00 AM.

To ensure safety, the CBD inbound lane along 2-Mile Hill (from Boroko to Badili) will be completely closed. The section between Badili Roundabout and the SVS Interchange will restrict traffic exclusively to outbound vehicles heading towards Boroko.

Normal traffic conditions are expected to restore by 5:00 AM on Monday, 1st June 2026. Inbound motorists must use alternative routes, specifically the Poreporena Freeway or Gavamani/Scratchley Road.

Please follow all posted signage and directions from traffic controllers.
